Why do I need a subscription?
Tractive Smart Trackers have built-in SIM cards (like your phone) that use mobile networks to send you location updates. All the fees needed to do that are covered with your subscription. That way, you get to enjoy unlimited range and coverage.
When does my subscription start?
You can choose a plan right after you order your tracker. That way, you're ready to go as soon as it arrives. You can also do it when you activate your tracker after it arrives.
Can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time. If you change your mind within 30 days of purchase, you'll get a full refund. If you cancel after 30 days, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, but it will not auto-renew. Our 30-day money back guarantee applies to all plans.
What's Tractive Care?
Simply put, it adds protection in case your tracker is lost, stolen, or damaged. The cost of adding Tractive Care is less than a new tracker, making it a smarter way to get peace of mind. You can make one claim per subscription period with a 1-year plan, and two claims with 2 and 5-year plans.
Do I need a plan for each of my trackers?
Yes. Each plan is tied to a single tracker.
What payment plans can I choose for my subscription?
You can choose between different subscription plans. The billing cycle depends on the plan you select:
- Monthly plan: Billed every month (available only for Basic plans in selected countries)
- Yearly plan: Billed once every 12 months at the beginning of the subscription period
- 2-year plan: Billed once every 24 months at the beginning of the subscription period
- 5-year plan: Billed once every 5 years at the beginning of the subscription period
